AKV concierge

My DW and I are going next May without the kids to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Do you think using points to stay at the AKV concierge level is worth it? I read mixed reviews on another website. Thanks!

Yes, we've done it twice and really enjoyed the frills. Request 6th floor. Keep in mind that the Concierge is only at the Jambo House.

I know that the concierge lounge is on the 6th floor however how many floors are dedicated for just concierge rooms like a studio?

To answer your original question, yes, we think it's worth the points to stay concierge at AKV. That being said, we've been extremely disappointed by the fact that there are so few AKV concierge rooms available. They are extremely difficult to get - nearly impossible if you don't own at AKV and can book 11 months in advance.

If you can get a reservation for the 2 of you at AKV, it's a GREAT way to enjoy some time together. You should look into the special safaris they offer to AKL concierge guests....
