Not all that thrilled with Wilderness Lodge

You'll swing by GF and Poly on your way to AK and MGM during lighter times. I found that during peak times during the day, WL has its own bus (and I'm assuming Poly and GF too). But there were some occasions on our way to MGM that we stopped at Poly.

Considering the size of WL, I think the main pool is sized about right.

Yup - I have to agree with you. We had to "share" the bus with GF on our way to AK. Not a big deal. I figure a day at WDW with someone else driving me around is WAY better than a day commuting to work and having to drive myself into the city! It is all in your perspective.

And like others have said - to each his or her own - WDW has a lot of resort choices - we just happen to prefer WL.

I agree that the bus service was not good at this resort!!! I didn't like sharing the buses...I felt if I was paying for a deluxe why would I share a bus...I was extremely disappointed when it took us a little over an hour to get to downtown disney because we had to go to ft wilderness and Gf.

We'll be staying at WL for the first time in November, is there an area we should request?

We just stayed there last month and really enjoyed it. The only time we rode the bus, however, was home from the MK a couple of times. We rode the boat over to the MK, and drove to all the other parks. We had to wait *forever* for the bus to bring us back home from the MK, but at least it didn't stop anywhere else.
