You have to show proof of FL residence to activate your ticket, then a finger scan is done each time you enter a park, so they can't be transferred to someone else.
that makes sense for the annual pass with the id and all. i thought I had read about a four day ticket for 99 bucks deal for fl residents and i was wondering if a relative could buy her tickets plus ours, using her address for all of us and then we could get in on the fun and drive in later... just wondering...
I'm pretty sure Disney is picky about Florida Resident discounted tickets regardless of if they are AP or not. Otherwise 1/2 the US would be "eligible" for some sort of Florida resident discount.
You'll need to get your regular MYW tickets when you arrive.
When you purchase the individual tickets each person must provide a Florida drivers license or Florida ID card in order to get them. I tried that last year and they refused to sell my friend from Florida a ticket for me. Sorry they are strict about it.
Anyone can buy a Florida resident package. However when you go to WDW to pick the pass up you have to have a valid Florida driver's license. The license and the name on the ticket pass have to match.
