Summer 1978. I was 4, my younger sister was 2 (my youngest sister was around 6 months old, she stayed behind at my aunt's house).

I don't remember anything about the trip. I do remember coming home & taping a Disney map to the wall (it was pretty big). I don't remember the picture being taken, but we did have a picture of my & my younger sister w/Snow White I think it got lost in a basement flood.

After that trip, I didn't get back to WDW until 1997 (1996?) and have been going every year since

First trip to WDW was in June, 1980 for our 5th wedding anniversary.

Now DisneyLAND is another story. My first trip there was on Opening Day - August 17, 1955. I wasn't quite 2yo but I was there!!!!!

I didn't make my first trip to WDW until 1988 when I was 36!

I've made up for my tardiness though. I've been back at least once every year since!

If memory serves me correctly, it had to be 1977, or 78,only MK at the time, it took three days to see it all.

I went with my family as a 12 year old in 1983. I wish I could remember more about it. We spent one day in MK and one day in the relatively new Epcot. The attractions I remember most are Space Mountain, Carousel of Progress, Spaceship Earth, and Universe of Energy. My sister and I were also delighted by the fountains near the Imagination Pavilion.

We stayed at the High Q in Orlando. We were very near Wet and Wild water park. It was the first water park we had ever been to.

In 1985 when I was 3. I remember Dumbo and seeing Goofy! Mom still talks about how Dad (being from a small town in WV where men never wore shorts at the time) was miserable in his jeans since we went in July. Refused shorts the entire trip but bought some before the next!

1997. I was five. I don't remember too much, but I do remeber meeting Ariel for the first time. The Little Mermaid was my favorite movie, and I even had Ariel tennis shoes. I was so thrilled with her reaction to my wearing shoes with her on it. I don't think I'll ever forget it.
All of our dream can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.

Remember, we must always believe in our wishes, for they are the magic in the world.

Current CM at MK! If you're in Adventureland and craving Dole, Ice Cream, or an eggroll, look for Sarah from Front Royal, VA and say Hi!
