"Frugal Friday"...How'd I do?

So, once I dropped DD off to school, I was on my way.

First store stop; Justice. Now a little background first. About 2 weeks ago I did return a top here but did not have the receipt so they ended up giving me a store credit for the $10. So today, I decided I needed to return the $35 jeans as well, due to a size issue. Though I DID NOT pay $35, I only paid $13. So after that is taken care of, as I'm on my way out, of course I have to look. What did I see, but the jeans I returned but in a bigger size. I grabbed them so quick! DD loves these jeans in red. The best thing was that they were 6.99 and still got 40% off, so ended up paying (with the store credit) $4.19! I also picked her up a top and ended up getting it for the same $4.19 so my total was $8.80! So DD already has one outfit for school for NEXT year.

Next stop was JCPenney; I found DD a pair of black jeans that started out at $36, were on clearance for $7.20 and with my 15% off coupon, I paid $6.41. Another pair of jeans for school, next year.

Last stop was at Kohl's; I found these cute "Food Network" mugs/bowls that started out at 9.99. They were on clearance for $2.99 then with my $5 off coupon, I ended up paying $1.07.

So this was how I spent my day off from work. Now for me and DD to enjoy our $5 footlong sub while watching the Princess and the Frog that we rented from redbox for $1.

you did awesome!!

i have started these pass few months to get on the coupon bandwagon and go with it...and WOW i cant believe all the money i am saving..watching for sales and using coupons at the same time..
nothing really sticks out in my mind right now about good deals i have gotten..
but im saving at least 25 bucks a week now with sales and coupons!!!!
