Default Baseball game tix + rain outs?

Taking a "geezer" trip in a week; our first DVC trip! Considering "suite day" tickets for my husband and father as a special treat. Has anyone done this? If so, is it worth it? Also--
couldn't find the policy for games that are rained out. Rain check would do no good since we are only there for one game. Do they refund?

As the tickets are purchased directly through TicketMaster, I would assume their Rain Check policy would be in place. Looking at my White Sox tickets through TicketMaster, it says that no refunds will be given - just a rain check voucher.

Unfortunately I was unable to find any other information on the ESPN Wide World of Sports website - it appears jumbled and whenever I try to connect to the weather link, it just gives me an error message.

Any other information out there for "eggs"?

Thanks KM! I was afraid that might be the policy so may just wait a couple of more days to see what the weather might hold-- they can only go to the Phillies game which is a week from Weds.
(March 24) Has anyone done the "Suite Day"?-- seems to me you'd be spending about $35 for snacks so a little pricey but and hoping the seats would be good and thought it would be more of a treat for my 84 year old baseball lovin' Dad.

To be completely honest - as a long-time baseball-loving guy - I would much rather enjoy a game like this from the stands. We've seen several Braves spring training games, and the stadium is a great place to watch the game - FAR better than seeing them play at the really large major league stadiums. The game and the players are much closer to the fans. I'd recommend spending a bit less on the tix, see if you can get some seats a little higher on the lower level in the shade, and let him enjoy a hot dog and a beer during the game - it's a great way to spend an afternoon!
