Embassy Suites - Lake Buena Vista *Any Tips or Reviews?*

I just booked the vacation and will be staying at Embassy Suits in LBV. Been to Disney, like most of you, numerous and can't wait to FINALLY get back. Any help on my accommodations that I booked for May 8th - 15th would be much appreciated.

Also.....How are crowds around that time of year?

Been to Embassy twice - good choice for non-Disney hotel! Beautiful lobby and atrium area. Our room was comfortable and pleasant. Big TVs which include Disney channel.

Take advantage of the free breakfast. It has a good selection of hot and cold food, with made-to-order omelettes. When we were there last time, though, there was not enough seating and few high chairs, so be prepared to take breakfast back up to your room.

In-room coffee: not very tasty. It uses single-serve filter packs, in case you bring your own.

Extra vanity with sink in bedroom was very handy.

Stayed there a LONG time ago (I assume it is the same place). Arrived late at night around midnight. The front cleck said he did not have my reservation. I tried to give my reservation number but he did not seem interested in that. He kept typing on his keyboard for several minutes (seemed like hours). All I could think about was how were we going to find a room at this time at night (not knowing the area). Finally the clerk said..."it does realy matter we have a lot of open rooms". Why put us through the whole ordeal in the first place.
