Universal X-mas 2010

Im planning on going in December to Universal and IOA. But im trying to decide if i should do 2 days while there xmas stuff is going on or if i should do 1 day the week before(maybe less crowds) and 1 day for christmas stuff week after or what does everyone think?

I have never been to Universal during Christmas but can guess it will be crowded just like anything else during the holiday season. We have always found that we need two full days to do the Studio & IOA when we go. Universal probably starts their Christmas celebration early just like Disney so going the week before Christmas will be less crowded but you will probably get to see the same stuff that you would Christmas week.

I was at Universal this past December and the parks were DEAD. Especially first thing in the morning. We rode The Simpsons Ride alone in a car to ourselves.

The cooler weather and shortened park hours resulted in smaller crowds.
