Staying On Proptery - DISCOUNTED Photopass????

I have heard rumor that if you stay on Disney Property then you get a discount o the Photopass - somethin is mailed or emailed to you before your trip?

Does anyone have any experience with this and how much the discount might be?

Also, we are staying off property for 7 nights and then 3 on, so can we start to use the discount pass before we stay on property?

It's a PIN code, for $99 for the CD I believe. It would be done at time of purchase, so it weould apply to photos taken tprior to your Disney stay.

SWEET. Thank you so much for letting me know how much it is - when do you get it? Does it come by mail or email?

Just called Disney. They had NO CLUE what I was talking about - and he said if you do get it you have to get the package, you cant just get a room only. Do any of you have any opinions on that - if its true or not?

We stayed in Fort Wilderness in Dec., room only, and received a discount by email. The cd was $119, I believe.
