CBR "Pirate Beds"

Hi, my hubby and I are going to WDW for my 50th birthday!!
We are staying at the CBR and are staying in a "Pirate room." Just wondering if the beds are uncomforable with the footboards? I looked at some photos recently and I can imagine myself hitting my foot on the side of the bed each time I stick my foot out from under the blankets. (Good ole menopause!)

We stayed there this past Oct. (family of 4) and had no problems sharing bed. You'll love it.

Stayed there in december, I never had a problem with the foodboards, (and i am 5'8 and i was no where near the footboards) So i dont think it will be a problem for ya.

We have stayed at CBR many times and loved
it. We have not stayed since they updated the
rooms. I am sure the beds will be fine for you.

Stayed in a pirate room in Oct. My husband is
6'3. He didn't complain. Beds were very comfortable.

We stayed in the Pirate Rooms for NYE. I'm 6'2" 250 lbs and didn't have any issues. Beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms are awsome IMO.
