Camping check in?

I know you can do on-line check-in for your cabin, but can you do the on-line check-in for camping? We will be staying in the cabins, but our friends will be camping and want to know if they can do the on-line check-in as well.

Yes you can. The gate guard will direct them to the line that is for online check-in when the arrive.

What's online checkin? We do it the old fashion way? Also, if I don't cancel room reservations 5 days out can I transfer them to a different date or do I lose them? We are supposed to go down on the 31st but have a sick relative- not sure if we should leave. Would insurance help or is it too late?

On-line check in is a system for going through much of the checkin process in advance of your arrival with the premise that it will shorten the time you need to get throua gh check-in once you arrive.

My understanding is that there is a penalty for canceling within five days of your scheduled date of arrival for a room only reservation.

I don't think you will be able to obtain trip insurance to cover you for something that has already happened. I am sorry to hear about the health issue within your family.

You might call Disney directly to explain your particular circumstances and to see if they can assist you with alternative arrangements. They have sometimes been known to work with folks in this way.
