Default Kindness Calendar with surprise Disney Ending

I am making a 30 day Kindness Calendar as a Christmas present for my 11 year old son. On each day, starting on the 26th, he will pull back the removable square of paper and find his kindness job for the day. On the 23rd of January, he will pull back the square and see, "Pay a compliment to a Cast Member at Disney World!" Thus the surprise Disney ending!

I need your help in coming up with a bunch of kindness ideas! The first few days will revolve around thank you notes for Christmas presents. I have thought of a few more:

    1. Hold a door open for a stranger.
    2. Find a toy to donate to charity.
    3. Cheer up a classmate who is feeling down.

I need lots more ideas! Can you help?

    Amy

Send someone (family member or close friend) a note just to say hi.

Find a local volunteer project that the family can do (perhaps in connection with MLK Day of Service).

Offer to return a shopping cart for someone at the grocery store.

Pick up non-nasty trash he comes across during his day, or pick up recycleables.

Refrain from complaining for the day.

Pick his own Random Act of Kindness.

    Hug his mom!

    Nice idea!

    Here's some thoughts:

    1. Take some coupons you don't use and put them by the products in the grocery store.

    2. Write a thank you note to the bus driver (or crossing guard) for keeping him safe,

    3. Take a stuffed animal to the local police department for them to give to a child when their out on a call.

Amy, I know I already sent this to you, but thought other people might be interested --

I run a Kindness program at my primary school. Here's a list from the program website:

    1. Clean your room and surprise your parents!
    2. Read a book to a younger brother or sister.
    3. Hug a family member.
    4. Make a special breakfast for your family.
    5. Be tolerant and caring to your siblings.
    6. Help fold the laundry.
    7. Clean a room in your house as a surprise (how about your brother or sister's room?).
    8. Read a bedtime story to your younger brother or sister.
    9. Offer to help with the dishes.
    10. Share the TV remote.
    11. Invite someone new over.
    12. Call your grandparents.
    13. Spend time with your brother or sister.
    14. Take pictures of your friends and give them a copy.
    15. Lend a toy or book to someone who is sick.
    16. Baby-sit for free.
    17. Call a friend who has moved away.
    18. Call a lonely friend.
    19. Offer a hug.
    20. Write an encouraging note.
    21. Help an adult.
    22. Give a compliment.
    23. Feed your pet without being reminded.
    24. Do something special with your pet, like brushing them, playing with them, or talking them for a walk.
    25. Volunteer at a local soup kitchen.
    26. Donate old clothes to charity.
    27. Pay the toll for the next car.
    28. Wash someone's car.
    29. Give a balloon away to a stranger.
    30. Open a door for someone.
    31. Write kindness messages with chalk on the sidewalk.
    32. Help carry a load.
    33. Say "hello" and "thank you" to employees at stores who help you.
    34. Offer your seat.
    35. Find and write to a penpal in a different country.
    36. Pick up and throw away litter you see on the ground.
    37. Put out birdseed for the birds.
