Living with the Land closed in Jan?

Anyone else hear that this attraction will be closed for a refurb in January? Apparently they are going to install the new boats and potentially some other changes too. We missed it last time and I hope we don't have to miss it again when we are there in January.

They were closed in September while I was there to install the new boats. I haven't seen anything else about further closures so far.

We missed the ride when it was closed a few months ago. When we were there last month and rode the ride, I didn't notice a change to the boats. In fact, I couldn't figure out why they had closed down during that brief period.

I read somewhere that whatever it was they were going to install in September didn't fit. They then put the ride back together with the old components and reopened it. Maybe this time it will work.

1) Yep.
2) It was another goof by Imagineering.
3) They fogot to "measure twice, cut once".

Yip, I read it on the same site that said Splash and the Castle were being refurbed. And they're pretty accurate when it comes to this stuff. At this point, I'm feeling lucky that we're missing the Test Track refurb by a few days.

major bummer. we'll be there the last week of january and it is one of my favorite rides! oh well, at least i'll be in DISNEY!
