    Default Question about MVMCP

How do they even know if you bought a ticket to MVMCP? The day we're going is the 18th and we'll be there before 4pm so we won't be using our tickets to get in. When do we use them?

When I went this past weekend they had wristband distribution areas around the MK for the MVMCP for people already in the park

We were there a couple weeks ago and had to get a wrist band. I don't know for sure, but I expect they'll be exchanging tickets for wristbands some time after 4PM.

The last time I was there, they actually had CM checking for wristbands on mainstreet before the parade. I know the restuarants and rides will ask to see the wristband.

I was there on December 1st and they most certainly were ushering non-wristband people out of the park and wouldn't even let those without a wristband into the stores or anything. You show your ticket to get a wristband so if you haven't used it for admission after 4:00, you still need it to get your wrist band.

    Have a great time!

We were at the Dec. 6 party and entered MK before 4:00. There was a station set up in the rose garden near the castle where we presented our party tickets to a cast member who swiped them through a machine, and we then proceded down the path to other CMs who were there handing out the wrist bands. It was very much like the wristband distribution for evening EMH used to be. As soon as it hit 7:00, we were asked many times to show our wristbands, even while just walking through the park. There were CMs stationed at the different areas of the park, such as where ToonTown and Fantasyland meet, who asked to see our bands. We also were asked to show them at shop entrances and ride entrances. Everyone without a band was quickly sent to the MK exit.

Yes, the usually set up particular turnstyles for party-goers. When we were there last week, they were all the way over on the right-hand side. There were folks just beyond the turnstyles with wristbands and they put those on you as soon as you came through the turnstyles on your party tickets.

I was at MVMCP in November and was sooooo excited when they were checking wristbands and keeping folks from getting in the stores. Was probably the first time in a long time I didn't feel like I was paying extra for no benefit since I can't recall anytime in the past that CM were actually making sure those who should be in the parks, were in the parks. I wish they would go back to the wristbands for EMH but that topic has been discussed a lot!
