Interview Pixie Dust Needed!

Hi all,

After over 8 months of unemployment, I have a good shot at landing an engineering job at the University of Michigan tomorrow. All I've got to do is impress the department head at the interview tomorrow at 2. Could you spare a little dust for me? Thanks, and I'll let you know how it turns out!

Thanks for all your support guys! The interview went phenomenally well! The department head & I hit it off really well, and I spent almost 3 hours discussing my background & experience, touring the lab facilities, and meeting the rest of his staff.

Being it's at U of M, and their primary focus is on research alone, they're pretty clueless about how to actually bring a product to production status. That's where I come in.

Since it's an academic slot, the pay wouldn't be as good as the "real world", but the perks & contact possibilities make up for that. Plus, living here in Michigan where the unemployment rate is 15%, beggars can't be choosers.

Once they do the background check, etc. I should know. Hopefully next week!
