    Default Most Famous "Real" CM

I was thinking about this two weeks ago when I was there and then reading about Art's retirement made me want to post about it.

Who's the most famous "real" CM, past or present? They had to become famous (at least famous to us nuts) while working as a CM (so CP readers and Wayne Brady don't count,) And anyone with the title Vice President or higher doesn't count.

I'm going with either Jamie from Off Kilter or Art the Greeter.

    Any other nominees?
    Jeff

I would nominate Maynard. The guy is a legend, but I think he's been predominantly a Disneyland CM. Still, he is probably the best I've seen.
Believe in the future, the world is getting better, there is still plenty of opportunity.

I gotta go with Ranger Stan Moore at WL I understand he retired on October 31st as well. He will be the single-most missed "attraction" when we return to Disney next year.

I vote for Maynard too. He is at Disneyland. I have seen him at HM and the Opra House on Main Street. He is quite the character.

My DD's ice skating coach used to be Tinkerbelle for the fireworks at Disneyland, but I wouldn't really call her famous.

Maynard is awsome. My friends and I actually saw him at the D23 Expo and posed in a couple of pictures for us. We all thought it would be really cool to have him talk at one of the Expo presentations in the future. He's such an amazing cast member.

Well, I was going to say Steve Martin, since he worked in the magic shop at DL, but I don't know that he was famous as a CM, but certainly afterwards.

So then I'll have to nominate Amanda C., jungle cruise skipper. Never heard of her? Well, she's famous to the DW and me....she's our DD.

I was going to say Maynard..

    until I saw Wally's name.

When I was a kid I always had to go see if he was there. My Mom always needed a break at some point in the day and was happy to oblige. I even got a sausage dog balloon from him. It was yellow, because I told him that was my favorite colour. Thanks for all the laughs Wally.
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.
