Anyone been to either of these lately? What is the age group you find at them? Would my son and his girlfriend enjoy them? They are both just 21. How about us 40 & 50 something? I really would like to check out Jellyrolls.

Another vote for Jelly Rolls! I've never been the the Atlantic Dance Hall, so I can't comment on that. But, wow, Jelly Rolls is a blast. It would be a great time for anyone, any age (21 or older of course). If you want a table to be able to sit down get there pretty early, otherwise you'll be at the mercy of the crowds.

My wife and I are 42. We loved it!! I would love it if I was 21!! These guys are great. Not too many songs they dont know!! I do remember spending some $$ on drinks though!!
I went with my friend (we are both 50+) and my son and his girlfriend (25) and we had a blast. It's a really great time and I try to get there at least once each trip.
Sounds like fun! How early is "early"? When should we arrive to get a table? Is is open every day?
Thanks.

We arrived just after 9 on a Saturday and did get a table but it was one of the last ones available. In no time it was standing room only. Now, weekdays may be better but I'm sure tables will fill quickly no matter what day it is.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I am now so looking forward to going!

I believe Jellyrolls starts letting people in around 8-8:30. I agree with everyone that it's a great time for any age (21+). And the longer into the night, the more fun it get's. Such a nice place to hang out in a "bar" atmosphere without the attitudes or worrying about a fight!
What is the policy, in Orlando in general, considering age restrictions. As an example, when my fiancee and I go down on our honeymoon, she is 20, and I am 32. Are there any clubs that will allow us both to enter?
I am 30 and have been to Atlantic Dance Hall a couple of times. It is busy during the weekends, not so on the weekdays. Very loud dance music is always on, not a place to chit chat and have a cocktail. But if you like to dance it is perfect.
