Pirates Leg - in POTC

When DL did the additions to POTC with Jack Sparrow did they remove some things. I remember the lady aution scene where the Pirates are bidding on women, there use to be a pirate that was on the bridge that you go under with his leg hanging down. I know it was there because i remember how real the foot looked. Now there is a pirate leaning on the bridge, no leg hanging. Does anyone remember this and what happened to the leg?

There's a different place where the leg hangs down, right around where the pirate is sitting with the pigs, I think. I don't remember it at the auction.

I didn't like how they changed where the pirates were chasing the women, though. Apparently the last one wasn't PC enough. I'm a woman and frankly I was okay with watching the pirates chasing women.

Yes, I believe you are correct. Hairy leg guy is the scene after the auction scene.

I just watched a video on You-tube and you are somewhat correct. The pirate hanging his leg over the bridge is not in the auction scene it is the same scene with the pirate with the pigs. I don't know if it is still there though. If anyone rides this soon, let me know. I don't recall seeing it on my latest trip. But I know it was there because I saw it in the video.

Hanging Pirate is gone. He used to be by the pigs singing the Pirates song. I always looked for him because as someone mentioned, that foot was so real looking and once you noticed it, you always looked for it. I was there a couple of weeks ago and no pirate with hairy foot.

I'll need to check it out when I'm there in December. When I was there in July it was there.

The pirate with the hairy leg is gone. I was there today. According to the CM he has been gone for a while and she didn't know if they will bring him back. I hope they bring him back

Sometimes the animatronics go missing when they need repairs or other work. He may still return.

I was just at DL last week and I was upset as well that I didn't see the Pirate w/ the hairy leg dangling from above the bridge as well. I was wandering the same thing. That was my one of my favorite features on the ride was looking up and seeing how realistic the hair on the leg looked. Hope it comes back!

Did they also take out the pirate skeleton in the shipwreck scene that is drinking wine and you can see it going down into his body?? Either my son and I missed it or it is gone as well.....
