    Default Adventures by Disney Vacations

Has anyone done the Backstage Magic Tour with children? How was it for them? Our son will be 10 when we do it and I am just worried that it may be a little adult for him or that not many kids go.

Also we may extend our stay at Disneyland portion at Grand Californian at the end of the tour, has anybody extended their stay? It only includes 3 nights at Disneyland and we would like to stay longer than that.

Would love any feedback from anyone who has done it.

    Thank You

    Hi There
I have never done an Advemtures by Disney vacation but it is something I hope to do someday. Did you book it thru Disney? Cant you call Disney Travel and ask if there is that option? I am sure they come across this all the time and have solutions.
I hope you find a way to stay. The Grand Cali is a great hotel.
Good Luck sorry I cant be of much more help

Hi, I haven't booked it yet. I have read a lot about the tour but not any reviews from people who have gone on it and don't know what it would be like for children, it does say that children can go, but it looks like an adult orientated holiday so would just love to hear if anybody has been with children (around 10).

You can book it through Disney or a Disney Travel Agent like Magical Journeys, which is how I would book it.

Thank you so much for your reply

Hey there, I haven't seen anyone on the boards that have done the Adventures by Disney trips, but I am sure that Adventures by Disney is just as family friendly as the rest of their products.

I would suggest contacting Magical Journeys, odds are they have lots of info from other people they have assisted with the trips and they are super helpful!

I did an Adventures By Disney to London and Paris with my 2 sons, but not the Backstage Magic.

I can tell you that they really do well with junior adventurers! When we did the Louvre (which normally would be boring for kids) one of the adventure guides took the juniors on a scavanger hunt. My youngest was 15 and had the choice of going with the adults or the kids, he chose the kids and said it was really fun.

I think a 10 year old would enjoy any of the ABD trips.

Currently there is a special that you get a free 3 night cruise for booking select ABD departures as well (January 19, March 28, June 20, July 18, August 08)
