Default DVC members paying cash for cruise

I was wondering if there was a cash discount on the Disney cruise if you are a DVC member? If so how much? Is it 25% like when paying cash at the resort?
    Can I go "home" yet?
    Mickey where are you?

We have never gotten any discount because we are DVC members. Both of our cruises were paid using part points and part cash.

I never use points for our cruises, and there has never been a discount. I have benefitted from having the great Magical Journeys team on our side though, and they were able to apply any discounts that did arise to our reservation as soon as they became available.

Never use points for the DCL ... always pay cash.

No special discounts for DVC members but once you are on board they do know that you, as a DVC member, are on board.

They encourage you to attend DVC events while on board. On our last cruise there was a DVC on-board mixer and then a couple of program presentations. Also, if the DVC reps spotted you out and about and you were wearing the new, DVC member (the current one was red) they would give you some "reward" creating that "magic moment". No credit given for wearing an earlier version (i.e.: blue) of the ballcap.
