Royal Pacific Wantilan Luau?

Has anyone gone to the Wantilan Luau at Royal Pacific?

Any details/reviews on it?
What did you think of it? Is it worth it?


If I can't get an Ohana adr, I am thinking of doing this instead.

It's on Saturdays, and coincidentally also the date for the Natalie Cole holiday concert, so I may have to pick between them ...

I've never been but I did read some reviews and they were all good. They said the entertainment & food was good. I liked the fact that the place is covered so if it rains the show still goes on. Drinks & tip are included in the price! There is also a childrens section just in case they are picky eaters.

No problem. I enjoy knowing this info myself! I read another review from a column writer and in a nutshell it went like this.

He visited 3 luau's in four days:

Disney: didn't like the food, entertainers looked bored not a good show, mixed drinks not included, most expensive.

SeaWorld: Best entertainment, food was OK nothing special, Cheapest

Universal: Best Food, Entertainment was OK but not as good as SeaWorld. Mixed drinks (certain ones) included. Middle of the road in price.

I do have a hard time believing that Disney's show is that bad because it is very popular but I guess that is just his opinion.

IMO I would go for it since you are going to be there anyway.
