Dec in US/IOW -- tips?

It's our 1st trip to US/IOW this December 17-20 at RPR. We've got 2 girls ages 8 & 12.

I'm looking at Holiday events at Universal and wondering which ones are not to be missed?


(Or possibly not on the list that are must-do's?)

I have only been to Universals Halloween Party so I can't tell you much about Christmas other than to say that they really know how to put on a great Halloween Party so I will take a guess and say their Christmas events are probably done well also.

I do know someone that went to the Grinch Breakfast during Christmas last year and he loved it. He said the food wasn't that good but the Grinch was very much true to character and the interaction was more than he could ask for.
