Day Four

Wednesday was supposed to be a waterpark, Blizzard Beach, but I woke up with a terribly sore throat and stuffed head. I knew from past experience that it likely came from moving from the air conditioning to the humidity outside and back, and had brought some remedy with me - we had our coffee and oatcakes and decided to go back to the Magic Kingdom and do what we hadn't had a chance to before.

We were in the Kingdom around 12:30, and started on the left - Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents again, Mickey's Philharmagic, a photo with Mickey at the Judges Tent, Pirates again, and then I had changed our reservation to lunch at the Plaza - it was quite decent food, but I don't know that it was worth a table credit.

We hit the wall around five. Big D looked at me and I looked at him, and we decided to go back to the resort. My head was still stuffed and we had a dive the next day - we ate from the Resort food court - which was excellent, basic food well prepared - and made it an early night.

Firsts - Met Mickey!

Tips - Always anticipate getting a head cold. Bring stuff for it.

yuck..its not cool getting sick on vacation! i hope this stuffyness doesnt last very long..
there was one day i woke up with a sora throat but it was gone by the late afternoon...

DH went thru that stuffy head thing the time before last, not pleasant. We did what you did, slowed down & called it an early day. Doesn't sound to good for the dive tomorrow.

My husband ended up with a head cold on our last trip - not fun! Hope it goes by quickly!
