3 wheel or 4 wheel ECV?
I'm looking at renting ECVs for our upcoming trip (Mom and I both need one) and I'm noticing that there are 3 wheeled and 4 wheeled ones. I'm lost! Which is better?

I think the 3 wheeled turns a little sharper. The four wheeled is much more stable to drive. (Not that the 3 wheeled jobs are flipping over left and right)
I use my 6 wheel "Scooter Store" Ride. Well its really a electric chair. I found that to be the best for lines as it can spin and turn. Its also fun for doing 360's in my hotel room...

I've used both and do find that the 3-wheel scooters do have a tighter turning radius. However, both do just fine.

I have used both.I prefer the three wheelers because of the tighter radius, but have used a 4 wheeler that turned almost as sharp.
My wife has her own 3 wheeler and has several years experience using it, but she did a flip with it in MK a few weeks ago. She was going up Main Street and her front wheel fell into the trolley track and she got dumped off. It took her a while to get back on her feet, but she was OK, just a bit sore.
For our stay on property, I rented a heavy duty ECV from Apple Scooters and had no complaints with it.

I just googled the company and looked at their products. It appears as though the capacity is 375lbs + . Perhaps you could give them a call for more specific information? Their website had an 800 number.

I am a recent scooter convert I used to live on my rollator and love it, however recently I have been converted and love the zippiness of a scooter. I am also in the Pooh Bear sized family and found no problems as long as you find one that is rated to your size, the few companies I have checked out in orlando are rated for up to 400bs. If you get a chance my only advice is practice backing up for getting onto the ramp of the Disney Bus ( I still need my own landing crew )
