Default Best PATH Train to New York

I'm traveling to NY on Saturday, September 26 and need advice on what PATH station I should use. I'm driving from Philly. I'll take the PATH train to 33rd street from either Journal Square, Pavonia, or Hoboken.

I will be returning from NY around 2am. This is my main concern due to the time. What station is safest? Are there any issues with limited parking at any of the stations? I've heard Hoboken lots fill up early on Saturday. Any idea on the parking fees at these stations?

Hoboken is good, I don't know how much it costs to park all day. You could also take the train from Secaucus Junction into Penn Station.
It think it's $10 to park all day.

Have you considered just driving to Hamilton (near Trenton) and taking NJ Transit in to Penn Station?

I always drive to Trenton and get on there, the parking gargage charges $13 for the day, and the trains leave every 1/2 during the day and hourly after 7.

Yes but the last NJ Transit train back to Trenton is 1:40 am. I'm going to the SNL show which won't be over until 1 am so I don't want the stress of trying to make that last train.

I choose the PATH train because they run all night. I'm taking my 18 year old niece so I need to know the safest PATH station between Journal Square, Pavonia, and Hoboken.

    Thanks for the help.

Hoboken is the safest of the 3 you listed. I travel through there everyday on my way to work
