Segway tours, which one to do?

Hi,
My wife and I are going to WDW with other family members soon. I wanted to do something they havent tried yet, so thought the segway tours would be a blast.
I have gone on the one in EPCOT around the world. I know they have a new one at EPCOT and the other one is at Wilderness lodge.

Ideally we want to do the one that has the longest time actually on the segways. So far consensus in our group is that we want to do the Wilderness lodge one.

Has anyone tried each of them and can you offer any advice which you prefer and why?

I believe you mean the Ft. Wilderness Campground Tour -not aware of one at the Lodge. Both the Epcot and Ft. Wilderness tour are listed as 2hrs, so no advantage there. I believe the Ft. Wilderness is less money and it sounds like it would be interesting -I think they use the Segway made for trails which would be different from the Epcot version. If you've done the Epcot already, I would do the Ft. Wilderness. We did the Around the World @ Epcot as well and loved it!

My DH and my cousin have taken all three segway tours and they will tell you that Around the World on a Segway (the one that goes around WS) is by far the best one in their opinion.

They did say that the segways at the FW one had "bigger nobby" tires, and that was about it as far as difference -- and you go on the trails around FW they told me.

For them, they want a new one since they have done all three!!

We have done both the World Showcase tour and the Fort Wilderness tour. Maybe it was because everyone in our Fort Wilderness tour had already ridden on a Segway that our training time was much shorter and we were off and riding for a longer portion of the two hour tour. The off road tires make the feeling different as the units have more bounce and I thought that made it better to ride. We spent more time moving but the World Showcase tour was more fun moving through the pavilions. If you have already done the World Showcase tour, you most definitely should try the off road tour in Fort Wilderness. The two are different enough making it worthwhile to do both.
