    Default To Boma from DHS

Hello my fellow Disneyphiles! 2 weeks and counting!

Quick question. We have ADRs at Boma our first night at Diz (a Sunday night) and we are planning to head straight there (by car) after Fantasmic at DHS, which is showing at 8:00 that evening. Seeing how Fantasmic is about 25 minutes long, we were planning to sit in the VERY BACK of the ampitheater to see the show and then bolt for the exit, jump in the car, and drive over to Boma for our 9:20 dinner ressie. We have a AAA Diamond parking pass, so hopefully that will score us a good parking spot, but I am a bit worried. We rarely drive when we are at the World, have never left a park at closing by car, and are unsure of the madness/mayhem that may await us at the DHS parking lot at closing.

Can anyone give me a heads up on whether or not they think this plan will work? Also, I wholeheartedly welcome any suggestions that make make this whole process a little easier...

    TIA!

Personally I don't think you can make it without leaving fantasmic before it is over but I am one of those people if someone told me I couldn't do it, I would find a way to prove them wrong. Here are the potential problems I see:

    1) Even at the back of fantasmic you will encounter some heavy foot traffic and at best I would think you are looking at 15 mins to your vehicle (if it is close).

    2) Traffic leaving DHS will be bad that time of night.

    3) Traffic from the other parks closing or getting late as well as the extra busses running during that time will push your drive time at best to 20 mins (more like 30 probably).

    4) Then you have to get through security, park (and the lot will be full up front at that time of night), and make a mad dash for Boma.

....on second thought you might make it but be too tired to eat.
My first home is in Coastal Georgia, 30 feet from the saltwater marsh, and 3.5 hours from WDW!My second home is the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort!CR,Poly,GF,BC,BW,WL,AKL,Dolphin,Swan,DL,CSR,POFQ,C BR,POP,AS,Vero.

Also remember that with Fantasmic showing only a few nights a week the park is that much more croweded.
