Las Vegas July 26-31st

It was HOT! It was 112 in the air and on the pavement it was 117! Pretty crazy! We had fun though!

I can't impress upon you enough to buy tickets to Phantom of the Opera!! It was truly outstanding! I've seen my share of Broadway plays and this was by far the best (Fidder on the Roof shares this distinction as well!) in a long while.

A place to get some of the best peel and eat shimp is Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and the mango margaritas are fabulous!

Another must is to eat at Serendipity 3 outside of Caesars Palace. The frozen hot choclate is a must. Their pizza is very good, just DON'T get the cheese ravioli, the sauce was bland. The main reason we were there was to order the world famous frozen hot chocolate and it didn't disappoint!

We love Vegas but I wouldn't attempt it in the summer. You are really brave!
I know some will not agree but it was a great place to take our son too. There was so much for us to do as a family, in fact we didn't even get to everything that was on our list of "to do's". We stayed at the Venetian and it was out of this world.
