December Dates

We'll be arriving at POP the day before you! In case you haven't read it elsewhere, and not to scare you, but just be aware that we'll be sharing WDW with Pop Warner people starting on Saturday or Sunday ... they have their football super bowl and cheerleader/dance competitions at the sports complex, but will also have plenty of time to hang out at the parks and eat at the restaurants. (I learned the hard way that they've taken over the Castle on my birthday, the 10th, so I may not be able to have my long-planned birthday celebration there! My travel agent/niece has been trying really hard to pull that off, but no luck, yet.) We also found it a bit challenging making advanced dining reservations throughout the week... but that may also be because everyone jumps in to do that right at the 90-day mark, and we started a couple of weeks late. However, others who have posted, have said they didn't notice a huge impact on day-to-day attendance. However, I absolutely don't intend to let it worry me or take away from my vacation... I'll be turning 60 in WDW, where I can be sure I'll be feeling like a kid! Just 10 weeks from tomorrow and I can't wait!! Maybe we'll see you there!

We will be sharing WDW with our oldest brother Teddy on Dec 2nd-9th. His b-day is on the 4th. We are staying at the BWI and have alot of surprizes planned! We cannot wait!!

I am planning a disney vacation just for myself the week of the 14-18 of Dec. Staying at POFQ. Definitely need some time away. If anyone is going to be around and wants to meet up, I'll be there.

We'll be there December 6 - 12th. It will be our first time at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani Village our home resort. It will also be the first time my parents will be coming with us since we've had kids, so we can't wait.

My wife and I are taking our newborn son for his first trip, Dec 16-18th. Staying at Coronado. He will only be about 2 1/2 months old, so probably no park for him. Luckily we have my parents and in-laws staying as well. They are gonna take turns one day watching him, so we can do a walk around World Showcase. Anyone want to grab a beverage and listen to some Off Kilter or British Invasion, let me know!!

After vowing in January to wait 2 years before I went back to DW, I'm headed back 13-18 December for rest and relaxation and hopefully escape to warm weather during that period! Staying at POFQ for 3rd time. Doing the party of 1 trip again. This is my 4th Christmas time visit in a row, so I think it's become a tradition for me to visit during the holiday season! I'm curious to see what if anything has changed over the past 11 months.

Haven't figured out ALL the dates yet but my family and I will definitely be down to WDW on my birthday (Dec. 22) and Christmas Day. This will be our first Christmas Day in the parks. I'm so excited!!!

I am doing my first solo trip from December 12th to the 16th and staying at the Beach Club. Anyone up for meeting somewhere?? I really want to view all the traditions of the countries at EPCOT. I am buying a bigger SIM card for my camera so I can do a lot of videoing this time without worrying about running out of space. Maybe if anyone is staying at the Beach Club, we could meet for breakfast at Cape May one morning.

We'll be there Dec. 19-26th celebrating my birthday AND Christmas! This is the longest we've ever stayed so I can't wait to explore the world and see things I haven't seen before in my 24 years! Maybe some mini-golf? haha

Get to the parks extra early on Christmas day, they often fill to capacity and have to stop people from entering. I would avoid MK all together if I were you.

When we visted during christmas week in 2007, on Christmas day we went to DHS to avoid the majority of the crowds. We were outside talking to a security guard while walking our dogs outside of the kennel, and he got a call on his walkie talkie to be ready for crowds because they had shut down Magic Kingdom because it was filled to capacity. The trams and buses were pouring in with tons of people coming to DHS. Needless to say we quickly finshed up with our dogs walk and ran back inside.

That being said, December is still a wonderful time to visit Disney, it is honestly even more magical. Even though it was insanely packed, I don't regret spending Christmas at Disney World.

I'll be there with my family, including my sister and brother in law, who live on the other side of the country, from December 22-29. My first Christmas there!

My DH and I went (for his first time) last December 10-15th and stayed at POP! We are looking to go again this December, maybe December 9-14th. FIngers crossed for good deals!

I was originally going to check in on the 3rd. By checking in on the 2nd instead you qualify for the free dining. I just changed my date by a day earlier. You need to check iin on/before 12/2. Thanks to Kathy at MJ
