Package Shipping??

Hey Folks,

Was just wondering if the shops @ WDW still provide the service where they will ship the gifts you buy to different places.

Was hoping to not have to try and stuff all that extra stuff into my suitcase on the return trip. Especially the glasses.

Yes they do and it works very well, too!! DW purchased a set of dishes at Dw two weeks ago. w/I a week we rec'd the package...no problems either. They gave us a tracking number, and we were able to check the status on the internet.

From what I have heard you are much better off shipping a package home from your resort via Fed Ex or UPS. The rates at the shops are calculated using the purchase amount not the actual size of the package. I would call or ask guest services at your resort before you ship from the store itself. You can always have the store ship the item to your resort and then ship it home from there. I think you'll save quite a bit of money.

We went last Thanksgiving did serious holiday shopping and shipped everything we brought home
