Default View of fireworks from Polynesian

How is the view of the fireworks from the Polynesian? I have stayed at the Contemporary many times and know the view is great but I'm not sure about the Polynesian. Any particular buildings better for viewing fireworks?

If you don't want to pay more for the theme park view, you can watch right from the beach. It offers a great view of the fireworks and the electric water parade.

That might work except I'm concerned that my son would already be asleep by then and we wouldn't be able to leave the room.

Ah, I understand. I have heard that Tahiti is a favorite for the theme park views. Unfortunately, you can't guarantee a building request, but that might be one you want to ask for.

There's a very weird sensation one gets while viewing the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the shores of the Poly.

The firework bursts appear to be at least ten times larger than the castle itself.

In my opinion, watching it from the Poly removes the noise, the stage show and Tinkerbell coming down the guy wire.

Just wanted to add that Tonga is not a building you can request for a standard room. They only have suites.

We just got back from WDW. We watched the MK fireworks on our first night from the Poly down on the beach. It was awesome! No crowds to deal with and the kids loved standing in the sand barefoot (the sand was nice and cool and felt great!). The only downside.....there was no music to accompany them if that is something important to you.

I was there just a few weeks ago and there was music with the fireworks around the pool, on the beach in front of Hawaii, around the resort in different locations, over near the luau and in some of the longhouses. I believe you can hear it from inside the Great Ceremonial House also.

We stayed at the Poly this past February and we loved going down to the beach at night and watching the fireworks - amazing view. There were several families there with their kids in their PJs and in strollers.
