They do give them out but they are plastic bag-like...this past year they sold really cute cloth bags for five dollars with a purchase...you will see them when you get there in any store. We used those and now my kids use them as sleep-over bags and such...

The bags they hand out are quite nice. We went in 2007, brought the bags home and my husband has been using his same bag as a lunch bag. I keep wanting to throw it out but he wants to see how long it will last.
A friend of mine comes down every year for MNSSHP and last year she made each of us trick or treat bags (she tends to get lots of candy...) The bags she made are the size of pillow cases!
The bags they give out are very sturdy. One year I actually brought a bag in the shape of a bollowing ball that matched my costume.
Have a great time and be sure to hit all of the stations - they give to adults too!
