    Cool

As a teen in the 70's it was at least two weeks camping in Fort Wilderness with Dad/Mom/Brother/Sister and it cost $ 4.95 to get into the Magic Kingdom gate.

After bringing girlfriend (now my wife), Later bringing our two girls (now grown and gone from house) many many times, I remember 3 day and 4 day ticket books, then we worked up to the length of stay packages, maybe 5 - 6 days.

Our trip in 70 days will be a 10 night stay for OUR 25th anniversary. Whooo Hooooo

    No kids, No Grandson,
Just me and my bride and we are soooo excited

Seems like I always add a night AFTER making our reservation because we can leave that morning after I go into work early. Then we leave early and drive all the way instead of stopping. Then we call while on the road and get in even another night early.

10 nights and 11 days is still not enough. Wife says when she wins the Lottery, we're stay at every Resort at Disney for a week each.
See all you September Disney Fans real soon!

10 Days seems to be about right for us. We've been there a couple of times for 7 days. I would feel frustrated if we only had less than 7 days.

Growing up we started out at 4 days and finally convinced Dad to go for 5. On our last trip we went for 9 days and it still didn't seem like enough! We are planning a "short" trip in October for 5 days and then our big trip in Dec is for 13 days. Can't wait!

Up till now I don't go for less then 8-10 days I am hoping that I can do a trip for 14 days sometime soon. If I had the money I would go for a whole month and boy would I be in my glory what a DREAM that would be.

We started out with 5 days, then it went to 7 and now we've settled on at least 9-10 days. I think 9 is the minimum we'd be happy with, two days per park (although we rarely go to DHS a second day) and a water park day. Staying 10 days gave us 2 water park days. It would be nice to stay just a little longer to do stuff like miniature golf. But if we get to stay at least 9 days, that's great! We only go once every two years. We drive down and now we make sure that we get in the evening before we want to start hitting the parks. It makes all the difference in the world to us!

Good for you! This will make it much nicer for you traveling the distance you travel. You will really be able to relax with a 14 day stay.

The shortest time I've ever stayed was 3 days. We usually stay for 4 or 5 days but a couple of times we were able to stay for 7 or 8 days. I'd love to be able to stay for 2 weeks or longer one day but we've never been able to afford that.

7-8 nights is what we usually do. Travel takes its toll and any shorter would seem as though all we did was travel by plane, check in, check out and fly home.
We would do longer but getting more time off for both of us is not usually possible

We fly to Fl from New Zealand, so if it is less that 2 weeks out in Disney, it seems like a bit of a waste of such a LOOONG flight!.

I think that travel times play a lot into the results here. For instance, if we lived in Orlando or anyplace within a few hours drive, we'd be there more often, but probably not for as long. We live near DC, so for us, we work around travel times...flying down on Friday night...stay 8 days...fly back Saturday or Sunday. When we've gone at Thanksgiving, this means we've only taken 3 vacation days away from work.

Our longest was 10 days, shortest was 4. Can't really justify the travel for less than 4.
