Default Any very "special" resort-gift-shop-only souvenears?

I read something about coconut postcards avaiable at one of the resort gift shops, and I wondered if there were any other resort-specific souvenirs that were great, must-have items?

I love to get quirky little things, esp. things you can't find at every gift shop on property. Since we'll be visiting a few other resorts during our upcoming trip, I'd love to know which ones have interesting things we might want to check out.

One year we collected all the blue embroidered deluxe specific beach towels...a few years back they had blue stripe towels for the French Quarter and Riverside...the coconuts are at the Caribbean Beach resort...we've mailed a few...cute idea. I like getting resort specific t-shirts...mostly at the deluxe and some moderates.

They have these really neat Christmas ornaments that are circular and have a nice picture of the moderate and deluxe resorts on them. I've always thought they were cool, but haven't ever bought one. I think that would be a neat souvenir.

I love my Poly merchandise. Our tiki glasses for outside dining, my Poly zippie, my brown Polynesian coffee mugs, and my favorite, 3 prints we purchased on our last trip done by a local artist. One of the lobby, One of the view of the Hawaii bldg from the water launch, and one of the Volcano pool. Love them.

The Grand Floridian sells resort specific soaps, as well as their super comfy robes and slippers.

Anything Fort Wilderness or Wilderness Lodge related. We buy the prints from local artist as well, one each trip. I enjoy buying coffee mugs from each resort, I have one from most resorts so when I am not in my favorite place i go to cupboard and pick a resort I would like to visit that day and pour myself some Disney brand coffee

WL has wood carved items. My favorite is the small totem poles (about 10") made of characters. I have one that is Eeyore, Tigger, Pooh, Owl, and Piglet and another that is Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Chip & Dale.

We buy something from each resort we've stayed at along with the resort ornament :

WL - The character totem pole
    CBR - A jeweled palm tree w/logo
Poly - The coconut postcard one trip and 2 glasses another trip
AKL - An African mask w/hidden Mickeys
OKW - A painted photo of the resort

We also take the boys picture in front of the resort sign each trip & then display at home. It's great to show all the places we've stayed as well as see how the boys have grown.

We just got back last night and both CBR and the Poly had the coconut postcards. I bet Beach Club has them too. I noticed that the Poly and AKL had the most resort specific merchandise. WL has a good selection too. CBR had a few things like mugs, tshirts, ornaments, magnets, mousepads, keychains, and prints of the main building that were all resort specific. A few years ago when we stayed at CSR they had lots of mexican items like margarita sets, terra cotta suns, pottery, and CSR logo shirts and mugs and stuff like that. We have the totum pole from WL, tiki mugs from the poly, as well as a print from the Poly, african musical instruments from AKL, and a salad tosser set from AKL. The resorts don't have as much unique merchandise as they used to but you can still find some great items if you look good enough.

Are these totem poles a staple at WL? I'm wondering if they'll still be around in October...they sound great
