Default Trip report May 10th - may 17th

First day we hit MK and man was it hot. We started out with the crystal palace breakfast and of course the kids were crazy over Pooh and Piglet. Since it was Mothers day we expected large crowds, but were very surprised that we walked on every ride in the kingdom. We have great pics of Frontier Land with not a soul walking around. DW and myself were looking at each other thinking maybe the park was closed, but after our 3rd time on Pirates people started showing up. "RATS"
We left the park around 4:30 to head back to movies for the pool because the heat was reaching around 96 and we didn't want to push it. Second day coming tommorow and it's and all day trip to Epcot.

Glad you enjoyed your day in MK! How nice to just walk right on everything! Boy, 96 degrees...I'd be heading for the pool, too!
Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.

WOW. Even to have the park to myself for an hour would be wonderful. Great start of your vacation.

    Just a question
We leave in a few days and the forecast reads rain everyday. How much did it rain on your trip?

    Thanks for the report!

Pretty nice to have such low crowds! I've been over Mother's Day a few times and have found that the Magic Kingdom seems to be the most crowded of the parks on that day. Seems like that didn't hold true for you!

Thanks for the report. We headed home May 10th, but the week leading up to that was HOT too. We went to Blizzard Beach that Saturday and it was even hard to cool off there.

96 degrees in May... that's awful! Sounds like our August trips! Pirates is cool and dark, a good choice to ride on 3X!!!

    Thanks for reporting!
