Seems sort of limited right now; I hope they add more items.

I got the information about that via email. Interesting that they're putting theme park stuff up on the web. I wouldn't expect to see everything they sell in the parks there, as it might take away some of the prestige/enjoyment of buying it in the parks.

Was very excited until I saw how little they are offering. Hopefully this will increase.

I think they plan to offer more (the site seems to indicate that)

This is nothing more than a way for them to get rid of excess merchandise that they are NOT selling in their parks. It's pretty obvious...

I'm sure there will never be the variety WE would like to see, simply because the stuff that is NOT selling is precisely the stuff NO ONE wants to buy anyway.

    Clever Disney...but come on...

If their merchandise wasn't so, I don't know, unappealing lately, then I'd be more excited about this... I'll give them the chance with this once more gets added to the site...

BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

I agree. On one hand I like the ability to go back and pick up something I missed, but on the other I feel like we're losing that unique "got it at the park after fireworks on Main Street" euphoria! (Or whatever else makes you happy!)

That said, I know I'll buy stuff online and still spend my future retirement money on the next trip. It's just part of who I am!

Default Other sites that offer theme park items?

Aren't there other sites that offer theme park items? Kind of like a "shopping service?" Boy if there aren't, seems like a business opportunity for someone living near the theme parks....

Why not use the internet. Not everyone can get to the outlet mall to get merchandise. Smart business.

It does take away some of the fun of the exclusivity that one can only get this stuff at the parks.

However, there will always be other park exclusive merchandise so the limited offering is okay to me. It's kinda like those Hawaiian chocolates folks grab on vacation only to find them sold back home.

Sometimes you can sneak an extra souvenir in by buying after you get home, especially with the limited luggage these days.

For folks who missed getting one more souvenir for someone back home or just forgot, its a nice 'second chance'.

We Disneyphiles would know what is really from the parks.
