I saw the dragon both Saturday and Sunday night ... AMAZING! We were so impressed with the newly fab Fantasmic! that we decided to see it twice!

The only problem, no seats!

There are seats........for $60.00 a person!

I was very disappointed when we saw the show in Aug. We actually paid for the seats, great food, but Fantasmic was no better than WDW which is free for seats. I really don't think even the appearance of the dragon could substantiate their $60.00 per person seat charge, but people pay it, including me.

People pay it because its the convenience of not having to stake out a spot at 4:30 for a 9:00 show. While I understand that people want to enjoy the show and get as good a view as possible, I really wish Disney would limit the time you are allowed to start "reserving" a spot for the show. It's so annoying to show up and be told that the space you just sat down at is reserved by 1 person holding it for 10 people. This is also a pet peeve I have at the movies.

The premium viewing seats are well worth the money. The dessert box is yummy AND the fact that you don't have to stake out a seat an hour before is great.

I personally LOVE the fact that the how is on the Rivers of America with no seats ... and although I haven't ever done the show at WDW several of my friends prefer the DLR version because of how the staging is better at DLR. I have been to WDW and every time I just kind of avoid Fantasmic since I love the original.
