I'm the planner......I do have help though with our "tour guide"....he's a cousin who frequents the parks to pin trade and he is really valuable to our family!! DH at first wondered how I made everything go so smoothly and seamlessly but now he knows my secret....I scour the internet and this site for the latest and greatest things going on at Disney. I do tons of research before we do....hours!!!

So I do have help -- YOU GUYS!!!

I am going to say DW (me) because I make the calls and buy the tickets but the DH always has his fair share of input on the daily itinerary plans and meals.

I am in the majority as a "Disney Mom" planner. However, the past few trips, our oldest DD has joined in on the planning and has done our daily itineraries! I've trained her well!

12 days and counting until my 20th anniv. trip with DH only.

My wife planned the honeymoon, I planned the last minute spring break trip (what little we planned at least) and I will probably plan a big part of our 2010 trip.

My time on Intercot grew after our last trip, so now all my wife has to do is say "let's go for x days", and I will whip out my emergency plans mapped out in the back of my head and head south. Like Uncle Sam used to say, "Be Ready!"

I am definitely the planner. My husband laughs at me because I am on the internet all the time looking up various Disney deals. I swear I check Intercot at least 4 times during the day to see if any posts can be of any assistance to me. I am a disney fanatic for sure. When we get there we don't really plan anything but before we go I have to have tours planned and shows decided. This year we are going to MVMCP so I need to decide on the day we want to go. I really enjoy planning all the details. It just gets me more excited for my trip!!

since my conversion a few years ago I do most of the initial disney planning for us (dates/resorts/restaurants) while DW does most of the inpark planning (ride sequence/shows/etc).

I am the family planner, consistantly making ressies for 10+ people for trips to DLR & WDW. Everyone gets to put in their 2 cents about where they would like to eat but I make the final ressies.

I'm the planner (DW). DH has an input into where we eat and stay but other than that, he doesn't care about the planning. He knows that is half the fun for me to plan everything out. He says "Just tell me where to be and when". He acts like he doesn't care anything about it until the actual trip but the other day he told one of his friends that was going this week to call me for information on everything so guess he isn't clueless on all the research I do like I thought he was.

We aren't married to the same man, are we?!?! DH just wants to know a month in advance when to show up...and how much it is costing him! The rest of the planning is all up to me, but that's the way I like it!

I (DW) do all of the planning, although DH & DS's all provide input on specifics that they want to experience! But I keep up with the spreadsheets with all hours, make all adr's, plan our daily iteneraries, etc. I love the planning so much & if DH tried to plan, it would be a fiasco! He's more of a jump in feet first & then yell for help kind of guy!

I am the planner (DW) but my DH doesn't mind a bit... he really doesn't think too hard about the trip until it's pretty close, he's just not wired that way. But he does give me input on ADR's - he loves his Disney food - and enjoys going over the plans with me once in awhile as I mix dates and parks and parties and meals, etc. The very first time we went and I did this, I was teased a bit... 'til everyone had a blast and things I'd learned on here worked out really well and helped make everthing work out very smoothly!! Ever since then?? Nobody says a word except "So what's the plan, Mouseketeer??"

I get input from the people who will be going with me, but I'm the one who organizes and plans everything. I love it!

"Tour Guide Mikey", (aka DH) Our journeys are always more magical because of him! He has other people call him for WDW vaca planning tips. He even had friends call him daily this week FROM the World to get advice on what, where, and when! He has he uncanny ability to get the packages we want @ the best price, the ressies we want, and his WDW navigational skills are 2nd to none! When we retire, and move to Orlando to work @ WDW, they should have a tour guide "service" and he would be their top producing employee!!

Me dm. I plan everything. I even have a very organized disney notebook I made with sections on dining, hotels, neat things to do and see at each park, lists of things to bring with us, with all the guides from the parks. whenever I'm on intercot I have my notebook with me because I'm always getting new ideas.
