Who's the Planner?....

On our last trip there was my mom, aunt, husband, son, and married friends of ours and I did all of the planning. I asked each person to pick one ts meal they would like and if there were any must see places, but I called for all the reservations- gave them reviews for their choices, and did all the extras. I loved every minute of it. This next time we are adding my in-laws and nothing has changed- it's still all me. Still loving it.

I (DH) did our planning for our (belated) honeymoon. DW thought I was nuts. But after getting some pretrip reports she began to look forward to them and actually asked me if she could get more involved. Since DD and DS were born we have both done the planning to the point of making it a disorder. She came up with many very good tips that we used and have passed on to others. This is one of the activities we both share, and I do not know how much fun I could have without my lover and best friend in planning a trip.

I am definitely the planner for every trip, Disney or otherwise. For me it's half the fun and DH doesn't mind.

I picked other because I am also single but do all the planning for our Disney Family Vacations.
I actually enjoy and my family is not into the planning aspect of anything.

I do all of the planning. DH just enjoys following the plan. He doesn't want to have anything to do with the planning. He knows I enjoy the process, and he appreciates the work I put into it.

Its kinda sorta both of us. We always discuss the plans together, and plan together. Just DBF is more on top of the funds and keeps track with the numbers, Im really bad with math. So he just keeps everything more organized. But we plan it all together.

At first it was the DW but I have placed an oar in the water and now it's hard to know who rows faster.

I'm a Dsiney Dad and the big planner in our family (DW leaves it all to me, while she handles the budget and bill paying) but I have always gotten a a lot of help and suggestions from my youngest DS (now 13). We have been planning our WDW trips together since he was 8.

I do the most of the planning; but DH and kids help out too. And then when we get there; our plans change.

Without a doubt, ME!! Poor DH just says,Whatever you like ,we will like too!!Just as long as we can eat at the Coral Reef. He doesn't get into the planning but loves the vacation.

Mostly me (DW). DH does get into it but I do all of the calling/paying/ressies/etc.. I just run things by him and ask if he has any requests for each trip and add them in. I usually know what is requests are ahead of time (eat at Le Cellier and Coral Reef, ride TOT, pirates and HM lots, etc) and have already incorporated them but he gets to feel involved anyway

He likes to keep getting the new DVD's each year - that seems to be "his thing". They tend to come in the mail before I even know there is a new one out Go figure.

I must say, I'm pretty surprised with the results so far. I'm the DH and have done the majority, (ok, all) of the planning so far. Come on men, are we really the Disney Geek minority?

It's me (DW)- I do all vacation planning, since I'm home. But none of them excite me like Disney does!

DW here. I do the majority of it. But a funny things seems to be happening; each year DH helps out a little more. I used to drive him crazy with planning which park on which day so I could do our ADR's. He refused to participate in making ADR's at 180 days because he didn't know what he'd want to eat. Then one trip, he started making suggestions about the schedule. By the next trip, it was asking about park hours and how that could affect things. By the next trip, he was talking ADR's at 200 days out!

Its me (DH). I have planned all of our trips from the flight down, rental car, resort and tickets. Then I plan out the days and where we eat. My youngest daughter is starting to help me with this and it has been fun planning with her.

I'm the planner! DH gets excited about the trip, but leaves all of the planning to me. Of course, I value his input - sometimes he helps me pick out the table service restaurants.

I do 99% of it. DH helps with excell and making the grid on the computer with all the information like ADR's and confirmation numbers. It works well for us, and I do allow input. LOL.
