    Default Who's the Planner?....

I assume most families do a fair amount of planning for their Disney vacation. Who's the planner?...

I'm the planner but am not married so it was "other." I travel with my sister and this time my mom and they are both perfectly happy to let me do 99% of the planning (and I love it so it works well!)

I'm the planner (DW) with very little input from DH. DH does review the plans but never really provides much input. However, he has a blast on our trips.

I'll have to admit it. DW does most of the actual calling and computer work. But I do help with a lot of the decision making.

Hubby and I like to plan together. We have a ton of fun doing this together. Our three daughters are now 21, 20 and almost 18 and they have gotten involved so it has become a neat family experience.

Dawned on me as I was rereading this that we truly are a geeky disney family!!

I do all the planning, packing, unpacking, DH drives to airport, takes luggage, and then says Are we there yet because that is when it hits him we are going away and he can then relax. He works 65 hours a week. This vacation coming in September is something he decided we were doing and told me to handle it. I love him when he says handle a Disney Trip.

I picked "other." I'm not a wife or a mom, but I'm a girlfriend and between my boyfriend and me, I am definitely the planner!

I am the planner. For our next trip it was my DH idea to go for my 30th bday and my son's 9th bday. We just went in January and didn't think we would go back so soon. My DH said we should do that for my bday and you're only going to turn 30 once. I'm like ya, that's a great idea, but I wish you could've planned it! His replay was well...i would've, but i wanted you to actually really enjoy your bday! He has no clue about making any kind of reservations for Disney! That's ok, though. At least he suggested the idea, and I'm so happy!!! I told him it will be the best bday I've had!

I Put in that I'm the "Disney Wife." Although DH does a fair amount of planning himself, I'm the one that likes to keep track of all things Disney.

    Me!!!
I am doing all the planning for our trip this September. Now that we just got a new computer,I am researching almost everyday. Its nice not waiting several minutes for each page to load.
Now if I could just get her to look at the menu pages so we can plan ADRs,I would be happy. The 90 day mark will be here soon.

Even for our trip 2 yrs ago with HER family,I did all the planning.

I (DW) do all the planning. DH just pays for the trips LOL Seriously, he doesn't take an interest in planning like I do. When I start to get all excited about our plans and want to share them, he doesn't even want to hear them. That's why I'm so grateful to have Intercot!

I'm also doing the bulk of the planning for our big trip this Sept--my family, my Mom and Dad, and our friend's family. (There's a reason people like to travel with us--I do all the work for them!)
