Cool How many miles from your home to Disney?

How far are you willing to drive to get to Disney? Our last trip was 1071 miles and took just over 17 hours, straight through, from N.E. Ohio. Left at 8 pm Friday evening, breakfast in Ga. and lunch on the Boardwalk! Funny how the trip home seems a bit longer!

Too far and too long, but we do the drive....approximately 17 hours or less and 1075 miles. Leaving in 11 days.

1380. We only drove once. We took 3 days down and 2 days back. We are not much for long drives. Plus, Southwest will fly us the 1380 miles for $79 and we are there in two and a half hours. The gas would cost us more to drive.

It is a little over 1600 miles. We have driven it twice and will do it again in 2010. We leave around 5pm on a friday, get a room Saturday night ,arrive at Disney around 11:30am on Sunday.
It is always my husband and I driving and our 2 kids. The first time we drove the youngest was 15 months.

We are 1262.87 miles to be exact and in my opinion that is entirely way too far!

I had to look up Girard. After living in NE Ohio for 32 years it's amazing how many cities I haven't heard of.

I'm down south of Akron and our last drive down was just about exactly 1000 miles.

938 miles!! We have never driven, only flew. I did however, take a bus trip to WDW 31 years ago for my very first trip. It was looooooooong and exhausting.

1192.5 miles-too far! We drove once right after 9/11 when we lived in IN and it took 18 hours. After one trip through the "mountains" (foothills around Chattanooga) with me, DH decided it was worth the money to fly and get there in 2 hours!

2, 098 km (I think that is about 1000 miles) from our driveway to French Quarter.

More importantly, 21 hours (if we take I-79/I-95) or an 8-hour drive, then 16-hours on the autotrain which is our preferred method of getting there

I am not sure how far we are. Maybe 500-600 miles. It's about an 11 hour drive. My husband is actually from Orland so we have driven or flown depending on the circumstances.

My threshold for driving with the kids is about 6 hours. Anymore than that and I start to get REALLY grumpy.

Our plane leaves in just over two days and we will be at MCO in under 2 hours. Maybe when they are older we will drive...

We fly, it is a 2 hour and 40 minute flight from Hartford, if we drove it would be 1300 miles, I cannot sit in a car that long. I like knowing if I am leaving at 7 in the morning, I can be in the MK by lunch time.

1480 miles for us in about 22 hours - we try to do it in 2 days....most of the time we spend 12-14 hours on the road one of the days.
