    Default Orlando International Construction

    My wife and I were at the world in April and Sept. of 2008 both times we went there was construction projects going on at Orlando International .. we flew american.. and ther terminal was torn up.. are thos construction projects still going on. We will be in at the World in April again and wanted to know if the projects were finished

    They were still like that in December and pretty much have been since about 2004 when the terminal was damaged by one of the hurricanes.

    the first time we went was in 2005 and the terminal inside was not like this.. they have the ceiling off and temparary air vents all over

    Yes, the American Terminal is still like that. We tend to fly into and out of gates 14-16 every time, and it has been this way since our Disney Cruise in June of last year. There is a little head way. In fact, there is more going on within the terminal itself each time we visit. Last week, they had some portions of the waiting areas closed off. They really need to add more of that!

    It will be that way when you are there in April, as it doesn't look anywhere near done. They are remodeling to make it look nicer, which is really really needs.
