The College Program is an internship where students can work at WDW or DL for a semester. It is such an amazing experience!

Does Disney do anything like this for the summer months instead of a whole semester? Or just do hiring for the summer months? BTW, Congratulations! Maybe we'll see you in Dec/Jan!

Currently the Summer Program is just for people who have done the CP before.

    Thanks! That would be fun.

How long did it take you to hear back from them? I am possibly going to schedule my phone interview tomorrow and was just wondering how long it took you to receive an answer.

In fact, how was the phone interview? What kind of things did they ask? I'm so nervous about it & I haven't even scheduled it yet! If you pass the phone interview, you aren't obligated to do the program right? I'm still going back and forth in my head about it.

It took 4 weeks exactly from the time of the interview until my letter arrived. However, I know some people who got theirs anywhere from 2-3 weeks (so it all depends).

The interview wasn't too bad. My interviewer was really nice, and I enjoyed talking with her. Some of the things we went over included:
*the application (and things on it)
*personal questions (questions like "why do you want to do the CP?")
*questions about the roles I picked (which were character attendant, attractions, and photopass)

And no. If you are accepted, you do not have to accept the offer. You could still decline if you wanted to.

    Good luck with your interview!

Thanks for answering my questions. This whole thing has my stomach in knots. I don't know what to do. On one hand it would be a great and worthwhile experience that is once in a lifetime. On the other hand, it puts me behind in college even more than I already am and could wind up being a financial disaster. Plus I would miss my dog something terrible. (As far as she is concerned, the sun rises and sets because of me.)

Congratulations on getting accepted. Maybe we will see each other down there if I decide to go through it.

No problem! I understand about school (I fell behind too). But for me, it was totally worth it.

Thanks! That would be awsome if we do.

My problem is that I am already behind because of scheduling problems. I need to decide if I want to set myself back even further. But hey, there is no hurry to graduate. I've got my whole life ahead of me to work!

I was worried about the same thing, but I thought, I have to at least try. I knew that if I didn't, I'd regret it forever.
If you do apply, good luck!
I'm in the middle of the process right now too, so let me know if you need any help.

My audition in Raleigh is on April 19th, and it will be at least a few weeks until I hear from them. At least that's what I thought. Will I find out at the audition?

Ah, I see (I didn't realize the audition was that late). Good luck at the audition though. I'm sure you will be great.

Most likely you won't hear then (from what I've heard, the only audition that tells people there is the Orlando audition).

That is fantastic!!! My youngest DD just told me this morning that her best friend got accepted and will be going this fall! My DD really wants to do this too but has to wait a little while. I think it would be a once in a lifetime experience.

I am so excited! I found my roomie for the CP! Previously for the other 4, I got my roomie randomly at check-in. But this time, I decided to get one ahead of time. We found each other on FB. And she seems really nice. I can't wait to meet her! Only 150 days to go!
