My DH is going to the Dolphin for a week long conference. This hotel is new to him. Do they have a food court like the Disney hotels do? Also, do they have a mug for coffee like the Disney system? Thanks.
Picabu is located in the lower level of the Dolphin. This is a 24 hour cafeteria style dining location. We've found found the food to be equivalent to that which is found at other Disney hotel food courts.
There was a conference there when we stayed there in December. Most of the conference goers seemed to grab a pastry and coffee from the bar in the lobby. The bar served a variety of breakfast beverages and a decent array of pastries in the morning .
Not sure about the mug program, hopefully another INTERCOTee will no for sure.

There are several restaurants at the Dolphin and at least one at the Swan. It is a short walk to the Boardwalk area, and many more restaurants there. You can get good details on much of what is in this area in the menus section.
The Dolphin has several restaurants from cafeteria (Picabu) to fine dining (Shulas). Picabu's is a good place for breakfast, and yes they have a refillable mug. It is there own mug though, you can't use the WDW mug.
Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you!
As stated, Picabu has it's own refillable mug. And although there is a lobby bar that serves coffee to the convention crowd, it is worth the extra stroll downstairs. For some reason, the Starbucks coffee at Picabu is better than that at the lobby bar. When i mentioned this fact to the cashier, she replied that "everyone says that."
The Dolphin is a great convention hotel. Be sure to check out Bluezoo for cocktails or wonderful seafood!
The Dolphin is physically closer to the Yacht Club. They are side-by side, on the same side of the lake. However, as a practical matter, it is a shorter walk to the Yacht Club from the Swan, since the walkway goes from the Dolphin to the Swan, then back across the lake to the Yacht Club.
The dolphin is basically the same as the Disney Resorts. There is a food court, you can get the refillable mug. There is a bus system to the parks and you are within walking distnace of DHS and Epcot!
I would not consider the Dolphin to have a "food court." It does have a fairly inexpensive, all-day cafeteria for quick meals (Picabu), but it is definitely a cut above most food courts. In particular, breakfast here is actually pretty good. <snip> You can also get fruit, pastries, and coffee on the go in the lobby in the morning.
