The resort has significantly reduced the portion sizes on the chicken fusilli and other entrees at several eateries around the resort (the prices remain the same however).
Well I can finally say that I am getting excited. We have changed reservations around and we are now staying at the Grand Californian for 7 nights vice the Howards Johnson's for 9 nights.
Our itinerary is now as follows:
Las Vegas Mandalay Bay 5 nights
Los Angeles Universal Hilton 5 nights
Disneyland Grand Californian 7 nights
Our flights are booked and so is our car rental. Only things left to do is book tickets for Los Angeles (considering the Go Los Angeles card), our day trip to Catalina Island and if we decide on any meal reservations - maybe a character meal for me.
Now to wait over 4 months for our departure date!

The only thing i have managed to do is buy my So. California City Pass. Costco was offering free s/h so they were $227 each. Great deal.
I have a ressie at Candy Cane Inn, even though its a bit more than Carousel, which is participating in the new offer. Unlike WDW we will be spending more time in the hotel in the afternoon using the pool and resting. CCI just looks more appealing.
On April 14th we will purchase airfare from SWA - maybe then it will seem like a reality.
