Since the riding stable is at Fort Wilderness you might get the best response by posting your question in the Disney Camping forum. I suspect one of our mods will come along soon and move this thread over there for you.

We haven't yet but totally plan on trying this out in sept. Sounds like fun, its $45 a person and you have to be under 250lbs. that is all the information I have on it, at this time.

I booked this 45 minute ride for us in March. I can't wait to try something new for us at WDW. I'll let you know how it was when we return!

I will be there before you, so if we do it I will let you know. But thanks anyway.

A lot depends on your experience with horses. Our family of 4 did it one year and it was our girls' first time on horses. They loved it! But, haven been on horses several times since then, they aren't interested in doing it again. The horses are pretty much on auto-pilot and follow each other in a long column along a path through the woods around Ft. Wilderness. It is very relaxing and has great scenery. If you are a horse novice, I highly recommend it!

This was one of my Christmas gifts for DS and DW during our visit over Christmas 2008. I am over the 250 lb max weight so I had a couple hours on my own and appreciated it. DW had wanted to try it for several years since she used to have a horse when she was young. DS never wanted to try it and we were always busy with other stuff to go. So this year I set it up for both of them. To my surprise DS (now age 18) LOVED IT. He wants to do it again. He rode behind DW and his horse kept biting DW's horse. So funny! They said it was so cool to go on the back trails of FtW too. I would highly recommend it.
