Budget friendly Hotel/ Condo suggestions ~ Family of 6

Okay, I know we all LOVE to be onsite and I know the values are truly a value BUT for some of us, even POP is a stretch.

So I'm looking for offsite hotel suggestions for some friends.

They are a family of 6 - 3 teens, one elementary school age, plus mom and dad.

They have never been to WDW as a family and the $99 military ticket deal is too good to pass up! Their oldest son is graduating from high school, and the mom really wants to take the whole family down to WDW before her son enlists, so...... any super budget friendly suggestions???

My wife and kids stayed at the holiday inn - west gate one time. She said it wasn't too bad. Ther's also a list on the left side of this page, ICOT sponsors.

Believe it or not, Ebay is a great place to find a reasonable place to stay close to Disney. Do a search for "Disney Vacation Homes". Last year My family (wife and 2 boys) and my parents got a very nice house with a pool for $660 for a week. You just can't beat a deal like that!

We stayed at Windsor Hills condos. There was plenty of room and if your kids are little, it's pretty convenient.

We rented through AllStar Vacation Homes. I liked the security of knowing they have a great reputation, but I've since found out I could find a much better deal from other sources

We just rented a nice little house right by 192. It was in a neighborhood near the highway.

I can't remember what the name of the company was (my mom would know). But it was $99 a night. Four bedrooms, three full baths. Sleeps up to 10. Private pool (heated if you want). Garage with a pool table and washer+dryer. Full kitchen.

Not sure you can beat that. Right off of 192 past the old Splendid China.
