How are crowds around Marathon/MLK?

Hi!
We are trying to decide when to plan our next trip to the World. We usually go in early Dec but my DH's job won't allow him to take vacation during that time. SO.....we're deciding between

Jan 3-9 2010

OR

Jan 10-15 2010

I know the 2010 Marathon is scheduled for the 7-9 and then MLK Day is the 18. We really like the slower times in WDW and appreciate any input. THANKS!

I don't know about the 10-15 dates, but I was there 5-9 this year. Crowds were pretty big on Monday, the 5th. They tapered off on Tuesday, then Wednesday was pretty light, though I don't know if that was due to rain or just light crowds. Thursday was also okay, then crowds started building back on Friday with the marathon folks coming in. So, not a bad week. I would expect the weekends to be pretty crowded but the weekdays to be okay.
