    Question Two WDW Minigolf Questions

We plan to be in the World in the winter (rather than summer). Online hours have the parks closing at 7 - 8pm, so will the mini golf courses really be open 3 hours after they close? In particular, we are wondering about the winter hours for the course near Blizzard Beach, as we have never tried Winter Summerland.
Also -- when we went over to play minigolf at WDW, last summer, we did not plan it -- we simply went over to the course. We were given a "tee time" of about fifteen minutes later. While waiting was not a problem (we expected some wait) -- we were very surprised that the cast member acted as though we should have had reservations. We were at the Fantasia one (which I know also has the more golfer styled course) -- but, are "Tee times" supposed to be arranged in advance for the mini golf courses at WDW?

That's a really good question--I'm wondering the same thing--so I hope someone answers your question soon. Do you happen to know how the buses to Winter/Summerland work if Blizzard Beach is closed for the day? Do they still run afterwards, or no?

The buses from BB to the resorts stop running 30 minutes to 1 hour after BB closes.

After that, a bus runs until at least 10 p.m. to Epcot (it may be until 11 p.m.) You'll need to transfer to your resort bus at Epcot.

(You might also catch a bus to AK or Studios from BB, if either of those parks are still open. But Epcot is the "official" after-hours transfer point for BB.)

I've been to both mini-golfs and never got the impression that reservations or tee times were necessary. Maybe during the busy season, but I never go at that time.
The courses are very well done and a lot of fun to play. I can't say which one is better. Fantasia and Winter/Summerland are both very well maintained and themed.
I have yet to try the Fantasia Gardens golf course looking one though.

That is really good to know, thanks! I've done Fantasia twice and always wanted to try Winter/Summer but was very afraid of getting stranded there.

    Thanks for the info.
I hope they really are open that late in the winter -- we'll plan on going over after the parks one evening, I guess.

Both courses have been open until 11 p.m. for the 1 1/2 years that I've been a cm.

I checked, and the last bus to Epcot does leave at 11 p.m.

If you stay past then, call a cab, or you can walk to either AS Sports or Coronado Springs, each being just under a mile via a well-lighted, paved sidewalk.
