    My daughter LOVES horses--- is there any kind of Disney activity that would involve riding, caring, or seeing horses--

    we aren't interested in going off property.

    There's horseback riding at Ft. Wilderness. Check at "info. central" above and scroll down to "recreation".

    Also at Ft. Wilderness, there is the stables where a number of the WDW horses are stabled. You can also see a lot of great photos and read about some of the history that horses have had at WDW.
    It is my dream to one day pilot the monorails around the Seven Seas Lagoon....where's my star!!!

    I think the settlement area also has pony rides for smaller kids, and there are carriage rides and wagon rides at night?

    You can also ride the horse drawn wagon up Main Street in the Magic Kingdom.
